Class Teacher – KS1

 

  • 0.5fte – 0.6fte (2.5 – 3 days) This must include Monday & Tuesday
  • Fixed term for academic year 2026/27 (September 2026 – August 2027), with possibility to lead to a permanent position.
  • MPS although UPR will be considered dependent on experience.

Trimley St Mary Primary School is a larger than average, vibrant primary school situated on the outskirts of Felixstowe with 387 pupils currently on roll. 

 

 We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher, who is passionate about young children’s learning and development, to join our KS1 team.  Commencing from September 2026, this appointment will initially be on a fixed term contract until the end of the school term in July 2027, but there is the possibly that this will become a permanent position.  The position is for 2.5 – 3 days which must include Monday & Tuesday to fit in with current staff timetables

 

 We would welcome applications from candidates who are experienced in KS1, who will contribute to our positive and thriving learning environment, which is focused upon pupil achievement and progress.

Deputy Headteacher

We are looking to appoint a full time Deputy Headteacher to our leadership team within the school. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested in increasing their responsibilities and/or progressing further within a school.  Please see the job description below, which outlines the responsibilities.  Although this is a non-teaching position primarily, it will include cover for absences where needed.
